Jazz in Your Face one of
Johnstown's jewels

As a Johnstown native, I couldn't believe what my wife Barbara and I experienced as we spent the summer in our newly required second home in the Coopersdale section of the city.

There is nothing to compare in the Orlando area (population 2.1 million) to the outstanding musical group Jazz in Your Face that Johnstowers are so fortunate to have.

I doubt that most people realize how rare an entity this fine musical group is.

It's next to impossible to find a jazz group of this size and talent anywhere, let a lone in a city the size of Johnstown.

When I first heard the group, I thought, "This is a cruise ship quality outfit." We attended the group's concerts in Central Park, at the FolkFest and at the Holiday Inn, and wished for more.

As a former music teacher, I tip my hat to Mike Bodolosky and the rest of this exciting group and look forward to hearing them every chance I get when we return next summer.

And by the way, there are a few other things that Johnstowners are fortunate to have: A low crime rate, few traffic problems, good restaurants and friendly service people.
